A monthly series which offers a glance of my world right now.
1. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Netflix)- I had always heard of Its Always Sunny but had never seen it before. Sadly, I have now binge watched over six seasons in the past month. After the first two seasons you kind of get a feel for it and can listen more than watch, which is perfect for when you are doing chores around the house.
2. No Such Thing As A Fish (podcast)- Imagine sitting at a table with friends and each of you supplying one sentence to the group that turns into a 15 minutes conversation. Each week four podcasters (sometimes they switch based on outside obligations) meet to discuss their favorite facts of the week.
3. My Favorite Murder (podcast)-Each week Karen and Georgia talk about a murders that happened and read fan mail about murders in the fans hometowns. Karen and Georgia are not enthralled by the murders or the murderers; it does pull on sensationalism, but this is a great way to stay informed and be aware. Both Karen and Georgia are really sweet and funny women who aren’t trying to be exploitative of their subjects.
4. Pop Culture Happy Hour (podcast)- A great recap of the week in pop culture. Usually it focuses on two to three topics a week. They always warn you if there are going to be spoilers for TV Series and Films, but also dive into the world of popular events, music, and trends.
