Blue Apron Meals

Fresh Pimento Cheeseburgers with Collard Green & Carrot Slaw

P: I enjoyed this meal immensely. Kerstin now knows how to make homemade pimento which is exciting, and we both agree that it was the star of the meal. 4 out of 5 stars.

K: This was my favorite meal of the week. The burger was beyond delicious! I personally do not like collard greens so I passed mine on to Philip, but he was more than happy to have both servings for the night! 5 out of 5 stars.

Seared Cod & Udon Noodles with Shiitake Broth and Togarashi-Spiced Cucumber

P:This was not as fulfilling as I hoped it would be. There was nothing really wrong with the meal, but it wasn’t spectacular. Compared to other Blue Apron meals, this was disappointing. 2 out of 5 stars.

K: Individually all these pieces were good, but together, the entire meal was too much. I wish the spice was throughout the entire meal instead of just on the cucumber. It was also hard for me to mix the elements and then finish them.  3 out of 5 stars.

Crispy Chicken Milanese with Warm Brussels Sprouts & Potato Salad

P: I normally do not eat or like Brussel Sprouts. When I first heard that they were on the menu I was set to not like it, but this was pretty great. I felt like there was no flavor to the chicken outside of the crispy outside.  4 out of 5 stars.

K: The salad was amazing! I would definitely make this for my next potluck! The chicken was alright- nothing special, but nothing bad about it. 4 out of 5 stars.
